About Insuring Florida

Insuringflorida.org is a Web site of the Florida office of the Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.).  The mission of the I.I.I. is to improve the public’s understanding of insurance – what it does and how it works. 

Supported by the insurance industry, the New York-based I.I.I. is recognized nationwide by the media, academia, public policymakers and consumers as a primary source of information, analysis and referral concerning insurance.  The I.I.I. does not lobby. 

In addition to direct contact with the media, individuals and organizations, the I.I.I. office in Tampa offers a wide range of publications ranging from consumer brochures on how to save money on auto insurance to statistical analyses of the insurance industry in Florida.
